The Most Useful Bags: Being on the Go Has Never Been So Stylish

0

For the family large to small, here is a list of my most useful bags that make being on the go, easy and stylish + reasons why they make the cut.

I Will Create Pro Large Storage Bag

This polka dot bag is incredible. And very large. So large that my daughters are embarrassed when I use it. That’s ok, daughters, I’m still using it. Because it saves me from carrying the multiple smaller bags that cause a thousand trips back and forth to the car. My life…so much easier since owning this #largeandincharge bag.

For Sleepovers:

You can put a pillow, sleeping bag and overnight bag in here, and there’s still room for more. Plus, it keeps all the blankets and pillows off the dirty floors of cars and houses (think mud room).

For Ski Trips:

This held my entire family of 5’s outerwear, boots and miscellaneous clothing that you’d need for a day of skiing.

For Birthday Parties:

We recently had a sleepover birthday party for my daughter at the Marriott Portsmouth Downtown hotel. I was able to put all the party favors and birthday supplies inside, including my silk pillow and winter coats (since we always get blessed by the unpredicted Spring snowstorm that comes from nowhere). The next morning, at party’s end, it was perfect for carrying out all the gifts from a party of 12 teenage girls.

For Road Trips to Anywhere:

Stuff anything in it you want. #itallfits.

Tumi Larkin Annandale Duffel

This one is what I call a very good investment. It will literally last me forever and then some. From resort vacations to grueling state to state moves, the Tumi duffel stands the test of time and travel, yet remains looking new. It’s the perfect on-the-go weekender bag – easy and stylish. I can’t say enough great things about it! Plus, it fits perfectly “underneath the seat in front of you so is ideal as carryon luggage.” 😉

Thirty-One Deluxe Utility Tote

As the name says, it’s the perfect utility tote. 31 might not like me saying this, but truth be told, it works even better if you take out the metal frame. Don’t tell them, OK?

I featured this canvas tote in my article about travel and kids — it hasn’t let me down!

We all need a clutch. They’re so versatile. Carry alone or drop it into a larger bag. In all the time I was in diaper bag mode, I refused to carry separate pocketbook and diaper bag on my shoulder. Needless to say, I have many clutches. This one happens to be my latest favorite because it’s vegan leather, very affordable, soft, comes in 14 different colors and holds A LOT of stuff, to include your phone. #soclutch

NOA Leather Diaper Bag by Storksak

And since we’re talking about diaper bags, I’d be remiss if I didn’t share the one I carried for my last baby boy. Mine was nylon canvas, exact same style as this. If they offered leather back then, I would have jumped on it.

Truthfully, I could go on and on with handbag suggestions. But we don’t have all year?

A zillion kids, moves and careers later, they are exhausted, survive on turbo coffee and need a lot of makeup + retail therapy. Ok 1/2 true, Gary doesn’t wear makeup. Cindy and Gary have 4 children and currently reside in the Seacoast area of NH. Cindy has lived in 6 states and worn many hats over the years: Les Mills and YogaFit instructor, personal trainer, dental hygienist, bookkeeper, owner of Cindy Khoury Properties LLC, and United States Air Force Veteran. She is a style & life influencer who loves boutiques, online shopping with free returns and a clean organized home. Feminine, classic and timeless would describe her style. If she could wear a dress and high heels every day, she would. The lisianthus & orchids are her two favorite flowers. She loves working out with Les Mills On Demand, watching hummingbirds and laying in the sun. Golf is her newest hobby. (Do not go golfing with her.) Cindy also loves her bed, a lot, haha. She is the lowest energy, high-performing person you’ll ever meet. Working smarter is her strength. Her current struggle right now is convincing the kids why they do not need a dog. Any support, help or collaboration with this is welcome.
