Safe and Indoor Family-Friendly Fun at PiNZ Portsmouth

0

Are you wondering what it’s like to go to an indoor establishment with the kids during CoVid-19? Let me tell you. I had the opportunity to experience PiNZ Portsmouth last week and it was SUPER FUN!!! You deserve to be free from screens and wearing the fun hat. We’ve had a rough 2020 — we all need some good times! We took our three boys (ages 10, 13, and 14) there to burn off some energy after school.

Heading to Pinz Portsmouth during Covid-19

PINZ is clean. Every item was in its place and I noticed the staff wiping down areas immediately after the guests left them. I noticed paper towels and spray bottles on tables around in the event you wanted to give your area an extra wipe down.

There are stations throughout the facility to help rid the germs while you are having fun with your family. Easily accessible and located in all the major high traffic areas.

Bowling area

They have bowling! The clear dividers between each booth gave a sense of protection from anyone else who was bowling. They are big and wide enough to feel protected in a small area. While you do have to leave your area to bowl, there’s sanitizer available when you’re done.

Food

My kids have food allergies and we were able to find something on the menu for them to enjoy. That’s not always the case! When an establishment is accommodating, it provides a sense of relief for families. From the moment we placed our order, it took 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive. Naturally, my boys were starving!

Staff

All of the staff were friendly and helpful behind the masks. We haven’t frequented many establishments with the kids, but felt comfortable as we walked further into PiNZ. There can be many moving parts when a family goes out for the evening, and everything went smoothly. When we sat down for dinner, our server checked on us often and provided the items we requested.Boy in arcade at PiNZ Portsmouth

Prize Room

Obviously we hit the arcade! Three boys definitely won some tickets, so we headed to the prize room. At the time of our visit, there was only one family allowed in the prize room at a time. The kids were able to easily choose their prizes based on the number of tickets they had won. Trying to get them out of the prize room took a bit longer than anticipated.

Overall, our experience at PiNZ Portsmouth was amazing! The night wasn’t only for the kids. I had the opportunity to be a kid again.

Competing with my kids and walking away as champion was the best feeling ever. Tapping into my inner kid created a positive experience in such a crazy time. I’m sure my kids appreciated the evening away from computers and meetings. Fun times!
