Children of all ages are welcome to patriciate in decorating the Tree of Love in downtown Portsmouth.
We need your help to decorate the tree in Market Square with valentines, names, poems or messages of hope to help spread a little kindness.
Last year we had almost 300 home-made ornaments and it was really beautiful. This year, Portsmouth’s Mayor McEachern will be hanging the first valentine at noon on Feb 14th and following that families can visit the tree to find their heart.
Hearts can be made from the linked template or be as creative as you like – in fact, the more original the better! We will be accepting heart creations until Feb 10 then we’ll laminate them in time for decorating the tree on Feb 14.
Regardless of where you live, you can participate. If you can’t make it to Portsmouth to drop off, please email a photo to bsullivan@cityofportsmouth.com.
Mail or drop off heart-felt creations to: Portsmouth Senior Center, 125 Cottage Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801. Call Brinn with any questions 603-610-4433.
Free – all ages welcome.
