Guided Family Hike with Local Author, Sarah Lamagna

Join York Land Trust for a guided hike with local author, Sarah Lamagna, at Fuller Forest Preserve! Sarah’s new book Hiking with Kids New England: 50 Great Hikes for Families offers great tips for hiking with young people. She’ll share some of those tips and answer any questions you might have about hiking with kiddos. As a former ecologist, she’ll also be able to point out the flora and fauna of interest and answer any nature-related questions you may have.

Instructor Bio
Sarah is an avid outdoorswoman with a great love for books and creating stories. Her career has spanned many topics and locations including working as a professional ecologist for almost fifteen years. Sarah specializes in the ecotourism and slow/sustainable travel industry. Her bylines include The Denver Post, 5280 magazine, Very Well Family, Territory Supply, Outdoors.com, and Matador Network. She was also welcomed as an expert on NPR’s The Takeaway for her work on the wildfires in Colorado. Sarah lives in New England with her family where you will likely find her in her favorite mountain range: the White Mountains.
