ABOUT ELLEN CARLSON & MELISSA CARON
Melissa and Ellen are known fiddlers in northern New England. They are members of the Jerks of Grass, High Range, and directors of the NH Fiddle Ensemble. Their new album of an eclectic variety of sung songs and instrumentals got rave reviews in Fiddler Magazine, saying “[This album] is loaded with great musical moments. Each one of the fiddlers is an accomplished musician demonstrating not only extreme discipline in an ensemble but also the ability to take a melody and run with exquisite improvisation. The diversity of the material is stunning.” Songs from Bob Wills, Chuck Berry, and Guy Clark plus fiddling styles. These gals have fun together and it shows!
