Ayurveda is a unique system of medicine that honors and celebrates the differences in each of us. Ayurveda is primarily a preventative medicine that uses diet and lifestyle modifications, yoga and mindfulness to correct imbalances that can lead to disease. The wisdom of Ayurveda can easily be applied to the children in your life to support their vibrant health and predict and prevent potential vulnerabilities.
During the final part of this *three part series we will discuss the importance of a bedtime routine for ourselves and our kids. We will learn and practice Ayurvedic marma point and massage techniques for bedtime or for simply connecting to ourselves or our kids. This deeply nourishing and supportive practice can be done anytime grounding and soothing is needed or to simply “fill the tank” for times when those reserves are called upon.
Bring a yoga mat or beach towel and partner or friend (for free!) to practice these techniques on! This class will take place in West Newbury, MA – exact location is TBD.
*It is suggested that you take part 1- Ayurveda Basics and Determining Your Child’s Mind Body Type to prep for this session but it’s not essential.
