Taking Root programs guide students to connect to themselves, others, and nature through Nature Based Education and Mindfulness activities. In these sessions students will gain tools to build resilience in the areas of self-confidence, body awareness, self-regulation, self-control, regulate nervous system & reduce stress and anxiety. Activities include, yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, nature walks, and journaling.
